Australian AH SPRITE and MG MIDGET Registry

The following form is used for recording current details of your Australian Sprite or Midget in the Sprite Car Club of Australia's Car Register. This information is of historical interest to our club and future owners.

Please note, you should only complete the form if:

  • You own an Australian Assembled Sprite or Midget either located in Australia or exported overseas.

  • You own a UK assembled Sprite or Midget (including ex-North American) that has been imported and now resides in Australia.

  • You have no idea where your Sprite or Midget was assembled, but it definitely resides in Australia.

    • Please complete as much information as you can, it's more useful to have a partial record of a car than none at all, although you should include enough details in the identification numbers section of the form to uniquely identify you car. Your car does not have to be roadworthy before you tell us about it, we are interested in recording details of all cars, from concours through to under restoration and wrecks. You can always forward more details at a later date.

    * Note: You must include at least some or part of the following identification numbers to uniquely identify your car, otherwise any other information you submit in this form is meaningless and your record cannot be added to the registry.

    (Left/Right is as seated in the car, NOT standing in front looking at it)
    * On plate below air cleaners (car number, UK built cars only)
    * Stamped into left side front wishbone mounting bracket (car number)
    * On plate inside right side door pillar (body number, UK built cars only)
    * On plate inside left side door pillar
    * Stamped into body under wiring loom near master cylinder
    * On dealer plate (eg. Larke Hoskins "SP..." or P&R Williams "MGM-...")
    * Engine number (stamped on engine near generator/alternator)
    * Left hand shock absorber mounting plate
    * Model Prefix, found on compliance plate (eg. AN5, YAGN8, GAN4, etc...)
    * Stamped into firewall near left side bonnet hinge (Australian Build Number)
